23 weeks pregnant!

So this is strictly for my cousin Karlee.  She is going to be in Pennsylvania for the summer.  When she gets back I will only have a couple more weeks left before the baby comes.  So she has requested pictures of my belly.  Even though I'm not all for it... I put a bare belly pic up for her to see!  So here you go kar.  This is me almost 6 months prego! 

Mother's Day

Mothers day was so fun this year.  Shawn took me to Tuscany's on saturday night with our good friends Kent and Justi. The next morning was probably my most favorite part of the whole day.  Shawn and Krey brought me breakfast in bed.  Shawn made a new french toast recipe and he did a really good job.  Krey walked in the room helping Shawn carry the plate and he yelled Happy Day Mamma!!!  The whole day was an emotional one from then on!!!! (I'll blame being pregnant on that one) After church we headed to Kaysville to see Shawns family.  Shawns grandpa came close to passing away a month ago and I am so greatful that we were able to spend time with him yesterday. He is one of the greatest men I have ever met.  While we were up in Kaysville Shawn was down watching the last half of the jazz game, I was up stairs cutting up the fruit, all the grandkids were running in and out of the house.  After a while I decided to go and check on krey, but he wasn't down stairs with all the other kids, so I went to the backyard and he wasn't there.  I yelled for Shawn to find him.  Everyone said where ever the kids are he'll be.  So I went back to cutting fruit not worried.  Shawn came upstairs a few min later and I asked him if he ever found Krey.  He said no!  I went into an instant panic!!!  Running from room to room, backyard to the front yard, he was no where to be seen!!!  I was yelling his name but I didn't hear anything.  After we checked the perimeter of the house I took off running down the street.  Shawns grandparents live a short ways in from a busy street.  Thoughts kept running through my head that he was hit by a car or something.  When I got to the end of the street there were people walking home from church.  I asked if they had seen a little boy.  They said they saw a little boy playing in our grandparents neighbors sand box.  I took off running back to the house.  Sure enough there was my Krey Krey playing with the truck in the sand box!!!!!  He had wondered next door.  I dont think I have ever squeezed that kid so hard.  I became hysterical and just sat and squeezed him.  He kept saying "ok mamma?"  then he would look at shawn and say "mamma crying"  That was by far the worst feeling in the whole world!  Not knowing where he was.. I am so greatful to be a mom!  It comes with a lot of work and emotion but it is all worth every single second. I am so greatful for Kreyton and Shawn and soon our new baby. I am greatful for my friends and family that inspire me and make me a better mom!  Happy Mothers day yesterday to all you mommies out there.

Krey's personality has come out so much lately.  He says the funniest things.  I'm sure I am one of the only ones that thinks he is so funny but i'm the mom what do you expect.  If I slam on the brakes in the car he says "oh gosh mamma," If I tell him to shhh he'll say "dont sshhh me mamma," (because that is what I day to him when he sshhhs me) If I get mad at him he says "be nice to me mamma," one of the most recent phrases... he put on shawn's shoes the other day and said "I'm going to work mom, see ya" He is starting to be ok with the idea of having a baby sister.  He hugs my tummy and say "baby sisser," I dont think he really gets it yet though.  I could go on and on but I wont bore the few people that read my blog... I just love my boy.  He is going to be the best big brother.

Summer hair cut

So I have been thinking of giving Krey a buzz for the summer.  He hasn't had really short hair for a long time!  Instead of buzzing it totally off we did a mohawk!  I only planned on keeping the mohawk for a few days but it has become quite a hit!  Krey absolutely loves his mohawk.  He is starting to tell complete strangers about his mohawk. He'll look at someone and say "see mohawk" as he touches the spikes. He says the word mohawk so stinkin cute!  He is constantly touching it.  The fact that he likes it makes me a bit worried that he may have a wild side to him....  we for sure dont go anywhere without some kind of comment from someone.  Women kinda treat him different.  They aren't as friendly to him.  I think that is really interesting, he is the same kid!  Most people say "what did you do to your child's hair?"  I just cant bring myself to shave it yet...

Ultrasound...

I had my first ultrasound yesterday! I am only 19 weeks so they only gave me an 85% that its a....GIRL! So there is a chance that boy parts may still be visible later on. I am planning on getting another ultrasound in a month and it will be more for sure! Pictures coming soon.

Well Krey is 2 years and 3 months so I slacked a little on getting his 2 year pictures done but I finally got them done! Mary Clark does fantastic photography! Check out her blog photographybydmc.blogspot.com. She is such a cute girl and does great work!!!

Krey and Nash are the best of buds! They are incredible silly together and love spending time together. We are really going to miss them while they are gone this summer!!!!!

So Its about time I post something...

It has been for ever since I have been on here! I have been so sick it was the last thing on my mind! Then our internet is all messed up so its a pain. I keep getting crap from people for not posting new things(Andrea) So here comes a bunch of new posts. We are all doing really well. I am finally feeling a bit better. Krey is just busy being all boy. He is so funny, I sware I spend 90% of my day just laughing at the things he says and does and the other 10% I spend waiting for Shawn to get home so I can tell him about all the funny things krey did. Here are a few of the funny things... First he is obsessed with Black latex gloves! It used to be a certain brand but I ran out of them so he has settled for any black glove. He sleeps with it, wears it all day, ninja fights when he has it on, and al the end of the day when its time to take it off his hand is all purney and smells like vinagear!!! Its nauseating! but hilliarious! If you look closely in the easter pics you'll see the black glove. Some of his favorite phrases are no way mamma, ooohh I see (when you tell him something interesting), cool dude with thumbs up, He will sit and watch Batman begins for hours and doesn't get scared! He calls it bat man man. When he goes to bed he tries to fit as many of his toys in his bed and he can. The other night I got home and Shawn had already put him to bed, Shawn said he asked for his batman, glove, and a soccer ball to sleep with. Krey then woke up in the middle of the night to come into my bed and in his sleep he asked for his glove, batman, and soccer ball! He is so much fun and for sure a hand full!

After 5 months of waiting!

So I guess since everyone pretty much already knows I will post our exciting news!!!

We are having another baby!!!! I am about 5 weeks along and I am for sure feeling it!! Everyday is different, but I dont remember being this sick with Krey. There are days I just dont want to get out of bed! We're hanging in there. Shawn has already made tonz of late night trips to taco bell, the grocery store for random cravings... Even though I know it must be hard to get up at 11:oo pm and go out in the cold he says he enjoys helping me out! He is really handling it well dealing with me!

If you ask Krey where moms baby is he points to other bumps instead of my belly. If you ask if he wants a brother or a sister he says no, but I really dont think he understands what is going on.

We are so excited. I have had a lot of people tell me they think its a girl. I really would love to have a girl next, but I'm good either way. I'm trying not to think about it so I dont get disapointed when we find out.

My boy is TWO!!!!!

Kreyton turned two on Dec. 28th. I still cant believe he is that old. He is for sure acting his age. On his birthday he started telling me no, telling me he doesn't like something, throwing fits. We are definitely transitioning right now! Here are somethings about Krey: He loves the movie Cars, Toy story one and two, My friends tigger and pooh, His imagination is expanding when he plays. He doesn't just drive the cars around he makes them talk to eachother and he loves when you play cars with him.

He loves to cuddle. He knows that we are such suckers for it so if he isn't ready to go to bed he just puts his arms around your neck and says "wanna cuddle." He says sorry to everything, if he accidentally hurts you or if he drops his toy he says "I sorry"

He has learning opposites, if you ask him to go fast he goes fast and if you ask him to go slow he slows down and says sslllooowww. He can almost count to three. He loves singing songs and doing the actions. His favorite right now is once there was a snowman.

He loves to turn anything into something to jump on! My couch, my bed, his bed, me, or Shawn. We got him a tramp for his birthday so I cant wait until its warm outside to set it up.

I have a brother on a mission right now and if you ask Krey where uncle Sean is he says on a rocket, here is why. On the show little einsteins there is a rocket. When they get on the rocket they say " let the mission begin" and at the end of the show they always say "mission completion." I always tell Krey that uncle Sean is on a mission. So Krey thinks a mission is on a rocket!! I think that is the cutest thing ever.

Its so fun the see Krey growing and becoming his own person! He really is one of the funniest little boys I know. He says the funniest things. We love you so much Krey Krey!

Christmas 2007

Our christmas this year was pretty crazy. We were so excited to have krey open his presents from santa! That was until he started throwing up at 1 am Christmas morning. He got so sick. He could even sit up long enough to look at his toys. He tried to look at a few of the things that santa left unwrapped but quickly came over to me and laid back down! I felt so bad for him... Instead of going out to our families houses we just stayed home. It really almost worked out really well because we were kinda bumbed that we had to run from relatives houses and since Krey was sick we just got to stay home.

Krey got a Radio flyer bike from santa. He loves tipping it over more than he loves riding it. I hope that changes once its warm out side.

My mom gave Krey some cowboy boots. He loves them. They are now know as his woody boots.

Shawn got a new TV from santa. Santa was pretty generous to Shawn this year.

Krey was trying to smile so I could get a few pictures of him with all his presents. He was a good champ even though he felt crappy.

My Grandma (my moms mom) puts on a little show and reads a book. This year she had all the little kids be reindeer, shawn was an elf, and I was supposed to be a who.... hence the cute red flower. Then she had some of the elves bring out the presents. It gets a little silly but we look forward to it every year!
